Our FleetCard customers are a smart bunch. When we talk to them, which is often, they tell us loud and clear that they don’t just want discounts at the pump – although that of course does help.

What they also want are vehicle expense solutions that save them time which they can better spend working on their business. They want to be able to focus on recent sales, pitching for more clients, and working more closely with their existing valuable customers.

Every hour we can save them via our fleet management systems which is money in their bank accounts when they need it most. Because, let’s face it, times are tougher now than they’ve been for a while. We weathered the Covid storm, but the post-recovery has not been easy with inflation hitting living costs hard.

Australia certainly isn’t alone in this – conditions are tough worldwide – but, with insolvency rates almost doubling in the past year, we highly recommend our customers keep close to their customers and pro-actively manage those relationships to help mitigate business risks.

While we can’t predict the future, what FleetCard can offer is efficiency and stability. When it comes to managing your fleet, that translates into significant savings and smoother operations. Our extensive partnership network offers customers unmatched access and benefits to resources across refueling and recharging, auto services, detailed reporting, and driver insights.

With national coverage across Australia, FleetCard customers can refuel almost anywhere. We all know fuel pricing varies by site, brand, product mix, cycle pricing, and retail offering so, with our universal card, you can make the spend go further. And, with EV fleets increasing, we also now offer electric vehicle charging capability, via FleetCard +Electric, all on the one card.

FleetCard customers get access to regular discounts on fuel purchases, complemented by exclusive offers that extend to additional savings. And our retail partners are working hard to improve their food offerings, both in terms of healthy options and making them more affordable. There are some great options out there already that help you save time and money by filling up the car and grabbing a bite to eat at partners such as Coles Express and 7-Eleven.

For streamlined administrative process, FleetCard automatically generates all-in-one and simplified invoices for all fuel and fleet-based purchases. This reduces paperwork and saves valuable time for managers.

FleetCard’s detailed reporting process also enables businesses to easily identify cost inefficiencies, such as fuel theft or unauthorised purchases, contributing to increased cost savings. With features such as purchase controls, transaction limits, and detailed reporting functionalities, FleetCard helps managers to prevent unauthorised activity. And we also recommend pushing your drivers to input odometer readings as that helps better track fuel spend.

As businesses continue to seek ways to better engineer their fleet management processes, FleetCard can help drive them toward improved efficiency and maximisation of their fleet operation, whatever the economic headwinds throw at us.

And we’re not just delivering for our customers. Behind the scenes, we’re making sure our own organisation runs as efficiently as possible, and that we constantly strive for sustainability into the ongoing future.
